Part A:   Video: Exploring Opportunities and Concerns of End of Life Stage

Students learn about the social and environmental concerns and opportunities of the end-of-use stage of a product's life.

Student Activities:

Students watch two film clips. One examines the positive and negative impacts of the electronics recycling industry in China. The other addresses what leading electronics companies are doing to properly manage electronics at the end of their use. Older students are also given the opportunity to learn about a United Nations initiative to manage electronics at the end-of-use stage.

Part B:   Trivia Game

Students consolidate their learning to date.
